About Introvert, Dear

Our mission: To let introverts everywhere know it's okay to be who they are. You're not broken because you're quiet. There's nothing wrong with you because you like spending time alone.

We’re Introvert, Dear, the largest online community for introverts in the world. Check out the blog that started it all here.

Introvert, Dear was founded by Jenn Granneman in 2013 as her personal blog. She was living with an extroverted roommate, working an extroverted job (teaching), and dating an extroverted guy. She wanted to write about what it was like being an introvert living in an extroverted world.

For most of her life, Jenn felt weird, different, and out of place because of her quiet ways. Now she writes about introversion because she doesn’t want other introverts to feel the way she did.

Jenn is the author of The Secret Lives of Introverts: Inside Our Hidden World. She also cohosts The Introvert, Dear Podcast, blogs for Psychology Today, and is the co-founder of Highly Sensitive Refuge.
